Mount Gravatt Men's Shed Inc
Mount Gravatt Men’s Shed Members (MGMS) were pleasantly surprised at the Australia Day Breakfast at Southside Sport and Community Club when MGMS Establishment Committee was awarded the "Community Australia Day Award in recognition of the continued commitment for service to the local community". The award was presented by Councillor Krista Adams, representing Wishart Ward of Brisbane City Council. A Cheque for $200.00 was also presented to us.

This is a new group setting out to build a new shed on Mt Gravatt Showgrounds as soon as is possible.
We have over seventy members who meet monthly in the Memorial Hall at the Showgrounds. Meetings
consist of:
Shed Talk: discussion is encouraged to determine the future direction of the Shed
Community Projects: members are encouraged to participate.
Guest Speakers: members are encouraged to participate in discussions on topics such as men’s
health issues
Social Activities: bus trips to other Sheds and/or other facilities, barbeques, card days,
